Just a Reminder . . .

I have the reputation as a punctual guy; I show up on time if not a little early; I don’t miss appointments, birthdays, or anniversaries; People understand that I value them and their time.  As s professional, I understand the importance of presenting oneself as reliable.

OK – Seriously – If it weren’t for my iPhone, I’d be lost.  I have no idea how I ever accomplished anything before I had a smartphone or a PDA.  I know that God loves me because He created the smartphone at the exact time I needed one.

The key to my success is the “reminder alert” function.  The little “deedle-deedle” tone saves my bacon on a regular basis.  I get caught up in whatever task I’m doing and lose all track of time until this gift from heaven jolts me back to the reality of my schedule.  These little reminders are indeed a godsend!

There are other reminders we need on a regular basis:

I remind you, my dear children: Your sins are forgiven in Jesus’ name. . .  And a second reminder, dear children: You know the Father from personal experience. . .  Your fellowship with God enables you to gain a victory over the Evil One.  1 John 2:12-14  The Message

How’s that for a shock to the system?  We need not live life feeling guilty because the creator of the universe holds NOTHING against us.  We know Him and we know He will help us overcome anything thrown at us!

So quit moping, feeling guilty and defeated, and get out there and conquer life!

“Deedle-Deedle” – God is on your side!

Pressing on toward the goal . . .
